August - Preston Tolbert Potting Studio

We will be meeting in Statesville, NC at Preston Tolbert's Potting Studio. The class will offer BSOC members an chance to use their hands to build their own bonsai pots. A lesson on the potters wheel, clay, and firing provided for an additional fee.

Location: Preston Tolberts Studio - (2107 Amity Hill Rd, Statesville, NC)

Special Notes: This is a pay to attend special workshop for members. Registration will open to the general public two weeks prior to the event if spots are available. Members can watch but must pay to do the workshop.

Topic: Preston has 20 wheels in an air-conditioned warehouse. Will provide clay, materials, and then firing. Each person can make two pots. $60/person. The pots you make will be fired and then distributed at the next meeting (or via other arrangements).

Time: 10 am to 1 pm
